The City of Richmond Parks and Recreation will show free “Movies in the Park 2014” outdoors on Friday nights during the summer. Bring your refreshments, blankets, and chairs and enjoy the movie! Activities at 8PM and movies begin at 8:30 (or when it gets dark). Refreshments will be available for sale.
Bass Pro Shops in Ashland will be hosting free Family Summer Camp every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday June 7 – July 13, 2014. Free activities include a BB gun range, archery range, kids’ fishing, a free 4×6 photo, workshops, and crafts.

Stony Point Fashion Park is bringing back its summer-long concert series “Summer Sounds” for 2014, starting this Saturday, May 24:

All performances are located in front of Sur La Table near the Panera Bread Entrance. Weather permitting. Bands subject to change.
The band location is next to Stony Point’s pop-jet fountains for kids, so it can be a fun family evening activity in the heat of summer – we dress the boys in swimsuits and grab a baguette from Panera for munching!

“Join us this summer for free concerts on the grounds of Wilton. Bring a picnic dinner and your favorite lawn chair for family-friendly music on our scenic terrace overlooking the James River. Enjoy complimentary walk-through tours of Wilton as well as face-painting, games, and crafts for kids.

The City of Richmond has released the 2014 summer schedule for Dogwood Dell Festival of the Arts!
