The Cinderella Dreams Dress Shopping Event will be held again next month at Westchester Commons.
The Midlothian Junior Women’s Club, Puritan Cleaners, YMCAs of Greater Richmond, Westchester Commons and Summit Media are once again joining forces to ensure that no young woman is denied her chance to experience a quintessential event of adolescence – attending her Prom. The Cinderella Dreams Project aims to help shoulder the financial burden of attending this formal event by providing gowns and accessories for free to any girl who, like Cinderella, needs help obtaining a gown for the ball. (there is a $5 suggested donation)
Donations of dresses and other items will be accepted through February 28at area Puritan Cleaners and YMCA’s.

The Cinderella Dreams Dress Shopping Event will be held this Saturday (March 12, 2016) and next Sunday (March 20) at Westchester Commons – All high school age girls are welcome to prom shop for a $5 donation to help cover the annual costs of the project. There are over 1300 donated dresses from which to choose. Shopping is first-come, first-serve and the line will cut off an hour before shop closing.

The Cinderella Dreams Dress Shopping Event will be held in the middle of March again this year – All high school age girls are welcome to prom shop for a $5 donation to help cover the annual costs of the project.. Shopping is first-come, first-serve and the line will cut off an hour before shop closing. Volunteers have an early shopping opportunity – more details here.
There will also be a Little Black Dress sale on Thursday, March 20 from 7 to 9pm, open to the public with all dresses $10.

If you have an unneeded dress or accessories to contribute, collection of donations for the Cinderella Dreams Project have begun at all Richmond area YMCAs, all Puritan Cleaners locations, Harbour Pointe Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Midlothian Chiropractic and Wellness Center, and Bella Bridesmaid.

• Unopened cosmetics, perfume & hosiery
• Hair accessories
• Dress Shoes-new/like-new, low and high heels

The Cinderella Dreams Dress Shopping Event will be held in the middle of March again this year – for a requested $5 donation, girls can shop for a formal gown from a wide selection of donated dresses. There are also accessories and makeup available. The event is organized by the Midlothian Junior Women’s Club.
Timed entry shopping vouchers will be distributed one hour before the shop opens. One female guest per shopper.
There will also be a Little Black Dress sale on March 25 from 6 to 9pm.

If you’re past that phase of life and have items you could donate to the cause, collection of donations (dresses, jewelry, evening bags, and cosmetics) for the Cinderella Dreams Project will run through February 28th at any Richmond area YMCA, Puritan Cleaners, VCU campuses, Monkee’s, It’s Chic Again!, and Impressions Consignment and Boutique!

Cinderella Dreams’ last shopping day is coming up this Saturday, March 31, from 10am to 12pm. Prom-goers can choose a gown for a donation of $5.

Not in the market for a prom-type dress? What about a cocktail dress? Cinderella Dreams will hold a separate “Little Black Dress” event this Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Cinderella Dreams dress shop. Little black dresses and cocktail dresses will be for sale for $10 each.
Cinderella Dreams is organized by the Midlothian Junior Women’s Club.

Beginning tomorrow, February 6, the Cinderella Dreams Project will be collecting new or slightly-used prom dresses, shoes, accessories and new make-up at all Puritan Cleaner locations and metro-Richmond YMCAs. Collection of dresses will continue through March 12th, 2012.
The project coordinator, Midlothian Junior Women’s Club, will make those items available in March to any teenage girls needing prom help.
The Cinderella Dreams dress shop will be open at The Village Marketplace Shopping Center at 13100 Midlothian Tnpk. in Midlothian on Friday, March 23rd from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Girls will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. A donation of $5.00 is suggested.
