Richmond’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities presents outdoor Movies in the Park again this summer on Friday evenings at various parks around the city. Activities begin at 8 p.m. and movies begin at 8:30 p.m. (or when it gets dark). Refreshments will be available for sale.

Another affordable movie option this summer: Every Saturday morning beginning May 21st, the Byrd Theatre will be showing classic family movies, with Bob Gulledge at the Mighty Wurlitzer and classic Warner Brothers cartoons.
Admission is (the Byrd’s usual) $1.99 per person. The box office opens at 9:30am each show day; showtime is 10am.
May 21st- The Wizard Of OZ (A free cookie coupon from Montana Gold will be given out to the first 100 kids at the May 21st screening of The Wizard of Oz.)

West Broad Village will show free outdoor “Movies on the Lawn” on selected Friday nights this summer
“Grab your family and your lawn chair and join us for a fun-filled time on the lawn at West Broad Village (2250 Old Brick Road Glen Allen).”
Activities include inflatables, games, and door prizes beginning at 8 p.m. and a family-friendly movie starting around 9 p.m.
