Santa starts making his holiday rounds this weekend (yep) –
Chesterfield Towne Center – Santa Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 9, 2012, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Don’t delay because Santa is on his way.
That’s right, Santa arrives at Chesterfield Towne Center Friday, November 9th at 6pm to kick off the Holiday season.
And the mall will celebrate with a huge community tree lighting ceremony outside on the pedestrian plaza followed by a parade with Santa through the mall by attending children.
Santa is committed to the environment and shares the ride to Chesterfield Towne Center this year with RideFinders (a division of GRTC). Santa knows sharing a ride is the best way to go.
At the Ceremony there will be holiday fun for everyone and free gifts for the kids. Get in the spirit with live holiday music from the Monacan High School Jazz band and stuff a stocking with special offers from mall merchants.
Bill Bevins from Lite 98 will be Master of Ceremonies.

As far as I can tell, Regency lacks a comparable feature. Poor mall. I love the place; it’s always been “my mall.” But it has definitely seem better days. What’s your bet on the next store to leave? My money’s on Ann Taylor. (Edited: Usually the customer service desk on the second floor has a display of store coupons for each month.)
