Rabies vaccination clinic in Chesterfield October 6
The Chesterfield County Health Department and Chesterfield County’s Animal Control Division, will hold a rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, Oct. 6, 1-3 p.m., at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds Arts and Craft Building, 10300 Courthouse Road. Rabies vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats at a cost of $8 per animal. For safety, cats should be brought to the clinic in pet carriers.

Henrico rabies clinic set for October 13
The Henrico County Division of Police will offer rabies shots for dogs and cats from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Richmond International Raceway. The clinic will be held at gate four, at East Laburnum and Carolina avenues.
Vaccination shots cost $10 and must be paid in cash. A rabies tag and certificate of inoculation are included. Pets from all localities are welcome. Cats must be in carriers. Under Virginia law, dogs and cats 4 months of age and older must be vaccinated for rabies.
Henrico dog licenses will be available for $10, for a one-year license, and $15, for a three-year license. Officers will be available to discuss license options and vaccination requirements.

Movies on the Avenues – The Patterson and Libbie Business District hosts free family movies at the fields next to Westhampton School. Entertainment begins at 7:30 (Betsy Q, Jonathan the Juggler and RVA Hoop House), movie starts at dark around 8:30
The City of Richmond will be hosting free outdoor family movie nights at a different park each Friday. All movies start at sunset, approximately 8:30-10:30pm.
