Richmond CultureWorks will hold the 4th Annual Arts & Culture Xpo this Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“This annual event presented by CultureWorks spotlights our Region’s nonprofit arts and culture organizations” and features:
Our family has attended the previous three Xpos, and enjoyed the performances and opportunities to learn about RVA organizations with which we ere not familiar. While special discounts will be available, it does NOT appear that the free “Culture bucks” given to attendees in years’ past to spend at organization booths will be offered at this year’s event.
One of my favorite free events is coming up next Saturday, June 29, 2013:
The Arts and Culture Xpo, organized by Richmond CultureWorks and to be held at the Richmond Convention Center. Enjoy free performances, learn about local non-profits AND receive “XpoBucks” to spend at the booths to support the organizations – We have enjoyed a Maymont membership for the past two years thanks to XpoBucks! If you haven’t joined as a Cultural Shareholder (free to join) in the past, sign up in advance to be guaranteed $10 to spend.
The Arts and Culture Xpo is an explosion of the arts, history, science, and family fun for the Richmond Region – all under one roof on one day. The day features:
• FREE admission
• FREE performances on two stages from local arts and culture organizations including musical, visual art, theatrical, historical, dance and more!
• Opportunities to learn about memberships, classes, tickets, subscriptions, performances, education programs and so much more from more than local participating arts and culture organizations. VIEW THE LIST OF 2013 EXHIBITORS HERE!
• FREE money – XpoBucks – for registered Cultural Shareholders to use at the event, with any of the participating nonprofit organizations. Any preregistered Shareholder is guaranteed at least $10 in Bucks.
Also look for various special offer coupons from Xpo exhibitors in the Times-Dispatch June 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 29.
