Richmond SPCA – The Richmond SPCA is celebrating America’s birthday by holding $4 pet adoptions the first week of July! The adoption fee for all pets ages 6 months and older will be $4. Potential adopters will meet with adoption staff, who will provide thorough counseling to help ensure lasting matches for both pets and people. Pets adopted from the Richmond SPCA go home spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. Ashland Library Book Sale – The Friends of the Library biggest annual event is our annual July 4th Book Sale. We hold our book sale during Ashland’s 4th of July celebration.
