Richmond Bargains

Since it’s ostensibly the biggest event of a bargain hunter’s year, I should at least acknowledge that Black Friday is only a few days away. Unfortunately, I haven’t been keeping up with the BF buzz, except to hear people lament that the deals aren’t so hot. And I’m pretty sure I hear that opinion every year. Web bargain hunters have been spoiled by year-round web bargains.

Personally, I prefer post-Christmas shopping for finding the very best values – more clearances, instead of just doorbuster deals. However, I’ve been out of town for the past couple Thanksgivings with no chance to shop, so I’m considering venturing out this year (Maybe even bringing baby!).

Even though I lack the Black Friday lowdown, I get a strange kick out of watching frenzied holiday shoppers mob malls. By considering it a study in sociology instead of a bargain mission, my stress level drops considerably. And if I score a deal along the way, all the better
