Operation: Comforts from Home
May 1 – May 31

In the more than 235 years since the United States declared its independence from Great Britain war has been a part of life that every generation endures. Whether the war is taking place at home or half the world away there are those who give up the comforts of home to fight for a cause greater than themselves. Operation: Comforts from Home honors those who fought for liberty and supports those who continue to fight for liberty. Visitors who bring a new, unopened “comfort” item to Wilton during the month of May will receive complimentary admission to the historic house and exhibitions.
