Robinson Street Side Walk About – Saturday Oct 18, 11am to 3pm featuring live music, sidewalk sales, crafts, food specials, art exhibits, children activities and the temporary re-opening of the RVA Street Art Festival Site at the old GRTC Bus We are inviting people walk about Robinson Street to experience the diverse merchants and free entertainment. Each business will be having special sales, deals or events at their locations. Some of the examples include vinyl records from Deep Grove, great vintage clothing finds from Halycon, antique treasures from Bohland and Graham, bargain finds from the Clothes Rack, art from both Hill Gallery & Stewart Gallery and many more. In addition to merchants Robinson Street’s restaurants will have lots of great specials both inside and to go. For entertainment we will feature Red Light Rodeo a bluegrass and country group performing on the porch of 205 N. Robinson Street from 11:30-1:30 as well as Dave Shiflett and Friends playing acoustic originals as well as pop and Jazz, at the old GRTC Bus Depot from 12:00-2:00. For kids, U-Fab will be doing free fall themed kids arts and crafts with fabrics and upholstery tacks at the old GRTC Bus Depot from 11am till 1pm, all ages welcome. Visitors will also be able to walk and view all the great murals from the RVA Street Art Festival that will be open to the public for one day only.

Rita’s Water Ice on Hull Street – Holding a fundraiser on Sunday from 2p-5p with vendors, face painting, a raffle and more. Totally Teeny Traveling Farm will have their animals here from 4-5. A Peace of Pizza food truck will be out with their delicious pizzas. Benefits Anna, a nine-year-old needing open heart surgery.
