
The Chesterfield branch of the Children’s of Museum of Richmond is holding a free grand opening event tomorrow afternoon to celebrate the new “Pit Stop” exhibit:

NASCAR Driver Hermie Sadler will be there to cut the ribbon and present the new traveling exhibit to the community!

The new exhibit is a Richmond International Raceway-themed display that will travel among the museum’s three locations. It features four interactive components that will engage kids and adults, including:
The Flag Stand: Explanation of what each of the NASCAR flags means
Half Car: Sit inside an actual NASCAR race car that was driven in competition
Build Your Own Racecar: Explore how racecar modification impacts speed
When They Were Young: Historical facts about NASCAR drivers from Virginia
