Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town Discounts 2012

christmas town

Christmas Town comes to Busch Gardens Williamsburg on November 23 and runs select days through December 31:

This year guests can have themselves a very retro yuletide as the sights, sounds and nostalgic good cheer of a vintage Americana Christmas comes to life. Holiday Hills welcomes guests to a time gone by when holiday traditions were bold, flashy and warm as apple pie. Holiday Hills will open in the park’s Festa Italia section. The new area expands Christmas Town’s footprint and offers guests additional ride and restaurant choices this Christmas season.

The regular admission price of a Christmas Town ticket is $27, and admission is not included with any Busch Gardens annual pass. Season Pass members can purchase a ticket for 50% off, and save $7 on friends and family tickets.

But you don’t have to pay $27 – Here are the discounts I’ve found so far…

Save $5 off the regular price of tickets with one of the following promo codes: BGWCokeCT, BGWCFA, BGWWENDYSCT or BGWPAPACT (Go

here

and click on “Do you have a promo code?”

Save 50% off a 3-day Discovery Ticket (regularly $35) with code BGWCTAFF (Update: doesn’t appear to be working any more as of 11/21)

Busch Gardens did not offer the $5 Twitter ticket deal this year. You can check out Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Twitter at @BuschGardensVA

UPDATE 11/12/12: There will be a “buy one, get one free” sale for pass holders on 11/14 at 10 am

Our family has enjoyed wonderful visits to Christmas Town in the past two years (thanks to the Twitter specials). Here are a couple photos from last year, when I went with the boys and my parents:

I have never been to Busch Gardens in the winter. Does this ticket to Christmas Town also include admission to the rides? Or, is it just for the Christmas displays?

      Thanks,

      Kathy

It includes the rides! However, only some of the rides are running (not most of the roller coasters) – there should be a list on the website

I notice that last year I got mine on 11/4/2011 and the year before on 10/20/2010.

      Hi Alison!

Thanks for the info. We have been Busch Gardens passholders for years and our kids have loved Christmas Town every year. I wanted to share a few things with you.

1- The 3-Day Discovery Ticket Deal is only good for 3 consecutive days.

2- If you are a pass holder you can get half-priced tickets (so $13.50) and you get free parking in addition to discounts on food and merchandise in the park. Tomorrow (11/14) at 10 AM there is a buy 1 get 1 free deal for passholders. Here is a link to blogger in Tidewater with the info:

3- If you are looking for a way to get into the park early I highly recommend the lunch with Santa. It is not cheap (but you get a discount with your pass) and we use it as an early Christmas present for our kids. You get to enjoy a buffet meal, see a show, and they call you up by tables to talk to Santa and get a picture. It finishes out with Mrs. Claus coming around with fresh baked cookies for everyone.

is there a cheaper option to parking in the park??
