Ashland Halloween Parade
Halloween Hoopla (adults $4, kids free – get tickets online in advance) – Wednesday 4pm-8pm; Children’s Museum Central
Adults and children can come dressed in their Halloween best for an evening full of family fun at the Children’s Museum of Richmond – Central! Enjoy trick-or-treating in our Spooky Village, play fun games like pin the nose on the Jack-O-Lantern, paint pumpkins in The Backyard and so much more!
Oregon Hill Halloween Parade – Wednesday 7pm; Monroe Park
An End of the World Halloween Parade: Welcome all Sinners & Saints! Free and public participation necessary. Dress up, join the parade, carry huge larger than life size puppets of crazy horse, unicorns, a herd of white owls, a three headed wolf puppets, 12-foot falling suited men fleeting burning buildings, medieval based/traditional and tortured saints, modern day worker rights saints and the now infamous All the Saints’ super hero Ovulators!
Night of the Dead Festival – Thursday 6pm; 17th Street Farmers Market
Head to 17th Street the day after Halloween for the 2nd annual Night of the Dead Festival. Enjoy the Hispanic ballet, Mayan dancers and mariachi bands while noshing on Latin food. Costumes are encouraged!
