RVA App Happy

I’ve had an iPhone for almost two years, but it’s taken me until this year to really start taking advantage of the app functionality (beyond using my phone for the internet and social media).

Here are a few (free) Richmond apps worth checking out!

RVA Street Art – This maps the locations of all the murals if you want to check them out. Also RVA Street Food and RVA Museums apps available from the same developer

2BNB – If you ever take advantage of the free 2BNB bus service, this shows you the current location of the bus(es) and how far you are from it

Henrico County Public Library – Henrico Library lovers should definitely download this. I use mine at least once a week to search for books, place holds, renew my materials, and keep up with library events.

Richmond Flying Squirrels – Keep up with all the latest standings, the schedule, and promotions with the Go Nuts! app

Richmond, VA Parks – Produced by the City of Richmond. You can map the locations of all the parks to see what’s nearby, and search facilities

The VDOT 511 is great too, with traffic and road weather info, plus a special “Reach the Beach” feature for calculating travel times on various routes to Virginia Beach or the Outer Banks.

Do you have any favorite Richmond apps?
