In a Better World, 2011 Academy Award Winner for Best Foreign Language Film, is a powerful movie about courage and strength, as well as man’s capacity for violence. The film follows two intertwining stories. One story concerns two Danish schoolchildren – Elias, meek and assertive and Christian, angry and vengeance-prone who forge a friendship to combat the school bully. The other story is about Anton, who runs a free medical clinic in an unnamed African country exploited by a vicious warlord, and Claus, a recent widower, who is so grief-stricken that he’s isolated himself from his son

Everyone knows someone running! (We’ll be cheering for my husband!) Catch the action along the course at one of the four CarMax Party Stops – the best seats in the house! Each location features a band, drinks, race programs and sign-making materials for you to show your support and enthusiasm.
Egg Hunt – Saturday 11am; Westchester Commons, Midlothian
This year Westchester Commons will be featuring two Easter Egg Hunts! Ages 5 and under will be hunting for eggs at the Village Green Area. Ages 6-10 will be hunting for eggs at the field located next to Gold’s Gym. Don’t forget to stop by the Village Green area and say Hi to the Easter Bunny! We will also have face painting, crafts, raffles prizes and more!

Spring Cleaning – Saturday 12:30-3:30pm; Meadow Farm Museum
For all ages. Winter is over. It is time to open up the house, wash the windows, and scrub the floors. Learn about the implements used long ago as you help keep the house free of dirt and clear of bugs. Information: 501-2130.
Spring Fling – Saturday 1-4pm; Rockwood Nature Center, 3401 Courthouse Rd
Enjoy free spring themed games with prizes, free crafts to make and take, live animal encounters and our unique free egg hunt on the trails of Rockwood! Relax to the live acoustic performances from the Virginia Folk Music Association from 2pm-4pm outside on the nature center’s porch. In addition to all these free activities, there will also be facepainting, snacks and concessions for sale, local crafters and vendors*, and pony rides!!! Egg hunt begins at 2:30pm and will be grouped by age, bring your own basket or bucket to fill with eggs. Pony Rides provided by local Midlothian business the Laughing Farm and a small cost will apply, cash only please.
Richmond Kickers Pre-Season ($5) – Saturday 2pm; Richmond City Stadium
The Richmond Kickers will wrap up the 2012 preseason schedule with a Pro-Am clash, featuring the 2010 ACC Champions University of Maryland this Saturday, March 31. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. at Richmond City Stadium. Don’t miss your last chance to see your Richmond Kickers before the regular season kicks off one week later.

Kainos Dance is a liturgical praise dance method which combines ballet, modern, hip-hop as well as interpretive drama. Every movement is based on various forms of dance technique with a foundation of scriptural inspiration. On March 31 the students of Kainos Dance will perform their spring recital at 2pm
