A year after it opened, LaDifference’s Short Pump branch will be closing. (Times-Dispatch story)
The home-furnishing retailer’s owners Andy Thornton and Sarah Paxton say that shoppers still prefer to travel to its larger location downtown – 50,000 square feet versus 7,000 in Short Pump – and that daytime retail traffic just isn’t high enough in West Broad Village where it is located.
The liquidation sale will begin in mid-January and be finished by the end of February.
