Update 4/27: For some (bizarre, unknown) reason this particular post page has stopped loading, which means no one can comment to enter! I apologize. In the meantime while I try to figure out how to fix it, you may leave your comment on this free gas post and I will count all of those comments as entries as well. I’ve got your second chance right here – One lucky reader will win a $50 gift card for Shell Gas stations!
This great prize was provided to me in conjunction with the newly expanded partnership between Kroger and Shell, through which Kroger customers can now redeem Fuel Points worth up to $1 off per gallon of gas at both Kroger Fuel Centers and Shell gas stations. The previous redemption limit at Shell was $.10 off per gallon. This everyday offer is valid up to 35 gallons of fuel per purchase. You can find more information about the fuel rewards program, including how to earn fuel points and how to redeem them at Shell, on Shell’s website.
I have gotten a lot of mileage (haha) out of Kroger’s fuel rewards since the program was introduced in Richmond, so it’s great to have more locations at which I can fill up with my discount. And with gas prices at their current levels, any savings to alleviate the pain at the pump is much appreciated!
To enter the contest, just leave a comment listing the Shell location where you’d go to redeem your fabulous prize 
The Shell locator is here if you need to look up nearby locations. And no worries about the exact address, street name or area are fine – for instance, my station of choice would be the Shell on W Broad St near Babies R Us.
Comments are held for moderation, please be patient for your entry to appear. Contest ends Sunday, May 1 at 11:59pm EST. (1) gift card winner will be chosen by Random.org. Winner will be contacted by email and have 48 hours to reply with their mailing address before a new winner is chosen.

P.S. NASCAR fans: Members of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil crew and local Virginia media personalities will pair up at the Kroger store located at 118985 W. Broad St. in Henrico on Thursday, April 28 from 1-3 p.m. EST, to compete in a ‘Tailgating Cook off,’ where the No. 22 crew members will barbeque burgers for customers to sample for the chance of being selected the ‘People’s Choice’ winning team.
Additionally, there will be a ‘Grocery Bagging Challenge’ that will pair the crew members against fans to see who can correctly bag groceries in the fastest time. Fans who fill their bags faster than the crew will win Shell Gift Cards, Kroger Gift Cards and other No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil car themed prizes.
