As another semester wraps up, here’s a reminder of some of the reward programs that kids with good report cards can take advantage of! This is the list from last June, please let me know if you know of any others, or find that a program is discontinued.
Flying Squirrels Score An “A” Free Ticket Program – For every “A” on your current K-12 report card during the 3rd & 4th marking period you will earn a FREE General Admission ticket to a regular season Richmond Flying Squirrels’ game! Each “A” on your report card is good for one ticket per game — if you receive 8 A’s then you’ll receive 8 General Admission tickets to 8 different games! Courtesy of Union First Market Bank.
Whole Foods Short Pump – Children receive a free small gelato for having an “A” on their report cards (Limit one gelato per child per report card. Grades K-12.) (Update 6/11 via Jonah – this may only be offered for straight A’s)
Krispy Kreme – An “A” grade on the report card gets the child a free donut, up to 6 free!
Melting Pot Straight A Club – Do you have an honor roll student in the house? As school comes to a close we would like to recommend rewarding your students hard work with a FREE Melting Pot meal. If your child receives all A+’s, A’s or A-‘s on his/her report card you can bring that card in for a special dinner. For children in grades Kindergarten to 8th grade they can get a 3 course meal including cheese, entree (chicken, shrimp, teriyaki sirloin and ravioli) and chocolate. Those in High School (9th through 12th) can receive a four course meal. *An adult must accompany the honored student and at least one additional four-course dinner must be ordered to go with the free meal. Only one report card per reservation please. No other discounts/coupons can be used with this promotion. Valid only with the report card for this quarter. Not valid Friday or Saturday. We do offer this special feature year round so if they didn’t get all A’s this quarter they can always try again in the fall!
Blockbuster “Good Grades, Free Rental” – Get a free movie rental (family/kid sections only) for children in kindergarten through 12th grade who earn an A or B average on their report cards. Must be presented within 30 days of issuance
ChuckECheese – Each “A” translates into 3 free tokens, a “B” gets 2, and a “C” earns 1, up to a limit of 15.
Pizza Hut – Each marking period, any child who has 3 A’s or the equivalent thereof, will receive one Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of milk by presenting his or her report card to the manager. This offer is good for Elementary and Middle School students. Dine-in only. Student must be present and the original report card must be presented. Available at participating locations. (via Katrina, there may not be any participating locations in Richmond)
Color Me Mine – Save $1 off the studio fee for each “A” (or “S” for KG) on report card
Play N Trade Carytown – 10% off per item per A on used games and select accessories. Also, free T-shirt for more than 3 A’s! All ages!
Via Heather: Brusters ice cream also offers a free sundae with A’s on report cards!
Only end-of-year report cards:
Bowl America Rolling Rewards – At the end of each school year, Bowl America’s Rolling Rewards program salutes those students whose hard work and dedication have earned them the highest marks in the classroom. For each “A,” “O” or equivalent grade a student earns on their final end of the year report card, Bowl America will reward them with one free game of bowling. Students also will be automatically enrolled in the Rolling Rewards Honor Roll program, which encourages them to keep up the good work and lets them enjoy free bowling throughout the next school year.
Other possible rewards include a free Happy Meal at McDonalds, free 8-pack nuggets at Chick-fil-A, and free scoop of ice cream from Baskin Robbins – I haven’t found any corporate info to confirm these
