Pet Adoptions Only $40 at Richmond SPCA This Week

While it’s difficult to put a price on the joy a pet brings, pet expenses can add up quickly, so take advantage of reduced start-up costs this week: Adopt a dog or cat from the Richmond SPCA for the reduced fee of $40 (regularly $95) through May 14. All animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, and even microchipped!

If you’re not ready yet, but might be interested in adopting down the road, “like” the SPCA on Facebook or follow on Twitter to hear about future discounted adoption opportunities, as well as updates on the SPCA.

Last, a shameless plug because I love the SPCA: If you’re an animal-lover, definitely make the time to visit the cats and dogs at Robins-Starr Humane Center on Hermitage Road. It’s a beautiful facility that includes a gift shop, and my favorite parts are the two “catillion” rooms with 5-10 cats just hanging out 🙂
