It’s the end of first semester. Are you the proud parent of an honor roll student at (fill-in-the-blank) school? That stellar report card is good for more than just bragging rights; it’s worth free stuff for your child at businesses around Richmond!

(Note: I’ve verified the Whole Foods promo, but others are national deals and participation may vary by location. I definitely recommend calling ahead!)

Whole Foods Short Pump – Children receive a free small gelato for having an “A” on their report cards (Limit one gelato per child per report card. Grades K-12.)

Krispy Kreme – An “A” grade on the report card gets the child a free donut, up to 6 free! (Ummm, 6 donuts for one kid?)

Blockbuster “Good Grades, Free Rental” – Get a free movie rental (family/kid sections only) for children in kindergarten through 12th grade who earn an A or B average on their report cards. Must be presented within 30 days of issuance

ChuckECheese
– Each “A” translates into 3 free tokens, a “B” gets 2, and a “C” earns 1, up to a limit of 15.

Pizza Hut – Each marking period, any child who has 3 A’s or the equivalent thereof, will receive one Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of milk by presenting his or her report card to the manager. This offer is good for Elementary and Middle School students. Dine-in only. Student must be present and the original report card must be presented. Available at participating locations.

Color Me Mine – Save $1 off the studio fee for each “A” (or “S” for KG) on report card

Flying Squirrels baseball team – Per Union First Market Bank, show a recent K-12 report card at the Squirrels Box Office and each A = 1 FREE ticket. (1 ticket/1 game. So 3 “A”s = 1 ticket to 3 games)

rolling rewards

Bowl America Rolling Rewards (Only END OF YEAR report card) – At the end of each school year, Bowl America’s Rolling Rewards program salutes those students whose hard work and dedication have earned them the highest marks in the classroom. For each “A,” “O” or equivalent grade a student earns on their final end of the year report card, Bowl America will reward them with one free game of bowling. Students also will be automatically enrolled in the Rolling Rewards Honor Roll program, which encourages them to keep up the good work and lets them enjoy free bowling throughout the next school year.

A couple more tips via Facebook that I haven’t had a chance to check out:

Diane: Gamestop gives 20/% off of pre-owned games if you bring in your report card.

Lori: AMF Bowling! Free game for each A

Thanks to Billie Jo, Kyle, Rachel, Deana, Andi, Betsy, Tammy, and ImperfectMomm for their help, and thanks to Angela for suggesting it!

Thanks for the list! This is great. Someone also told me they had heard that the Diamond was offering a ticket for a good report card but I don’t know if it is true. Have you heard about this one?
