Earth Day Richmond & Fish Festival

Peace, Love and Planet Earth – this event encourages Richmonders to make every day Earth Day. Enjoy food, art, dance, environmental exhibits, earth-friendly goods, plenty of kid’s activities and live music! The health of the Earth is within everyone’s mission! Fool For Art Festival
10am – 4pm
JTCC Midlothian campus, 800 Charter Colony Parkway
In honor of Earth Day, Chesterfield County is partnering with John Tyler Community College to host an environmental event at the Fool for Art Festival at the JTCC Midlothian campus. Enjoy music, food, art and lectures highlighting environmental issues. Vendors and educational displays will present information on topics ranging from biofuel and alternative fuel vehicles to tips on composting and gardening. Event music will be provided by Chesterfield County Public Schools. The Office of Environmental Management will provide educational material for students at the event welcome desk. This event is free and is open to the public.
Earth Day Celebration
1pm – 4pm
Three Lakes Park, 400 Sausiluta Dr. Richmond, VA 23227
Bring the family and enjoy music by Susan Greenbaum and live entertainment by Bio Ritmo as they perform. Activities and entertainment will include educational booths and displays, litter “pick-up” races, recycling games, the Henrico County Bookmobile, arts and crafts promoting litter pick-up, face painting, and more. The Wildlife Center of Virginia will be on-site with live animals and will educate you on animal rescue. Three Lakes Nature Center will also feature hands-on activities as well as educational displays. Come out and celebrate the environment! Concessions will be available for purchase.
