It’s hard to pick a top event for this weekend; there are a lot of strong contenders.

The Ukrops Monument Avenue 10k is definitely the biggest. If you aren’t running in it, chances are you know someone who is. So find a spot near one of the party stops, and enjoy some music while cheering them on.
Shamrock the Block is happening Saturday too, down at 17th St Farmers Market, after being rescheduled due to weather.
For families, there are several Easter egg hunts on Saturday, as well as a Music Free-For-All, hosted by the Richmond Symphony:
The Richmond Symphony presents a day of youth-oriented musical activities, classes and story-telling, followed by a community concert. Activities begin at 1 p.m. Concert at 3:30 p.m. 788-1212, richmondsymphony.com.
