The biggie this weekend is the Richmond Folk Festival happening downtown, Friday through Sunday. It’s looking like good weather again!

richmond folk festival

Three days of music on seven stages with 30+ performing groups, Virginia Folklife Area demonstration area, Crafts Marketplace, ethnic foods and more.

I can’t begin to cover all the relevant details, so luckily there’s a website devoted to the subject where you can find the schedule, directions, performer info, etc. Last Sunday’s Times Dispatch also had a pull-out section about it. The best part is, it’s free!
